Academics, Character & Teamwork!

We are again raising the bar and we expect big things from our student/athletes this season. We are committed to our 3 Key Principles: Academics, Character and Teamwork — ACT. We look forward to partnering with you to make this a successful and enjoyable season for our entire Jr. Wildkit Family. If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to forward them to us at .

Evanston 4th of July Parade

We are having a fantastic summer camp! Our numbers are improving by the week and the players are giving 110% effort.

We will not have camp on Saturday, July 4th, 2009. We will however be participating in the annual Evanston 4th of July Parade! We always march in the parade with the ETHS entry and this year will prove to be no different.

We will meet at Bent Park located on Cowper & Central Av no later than 12:30 PM. The players will be asked to wear either their orange practice jersey or their orange camp T-shirt. Please call Craig Thompson at (847) 328-6758 if you have questions or concerns regarding the jerseys.

We will have plenty of fluids and two transport vehicles if we need to give rides to players or parents. Parents and siblings are encouraged to walk with us and you will be contacted by a Jr. Wildkit representative in the next few days regarding your participation in the parade.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in the weeks to come.

Camp Weather Information

The Jr. Wildkit Summer Conditioning Camp has gotten off to a great start. This past Saturday, was a little wet and a little cold but, our kids hung in there nonetheless.

For future reference, we will still have the camp if there is a light drizzle; if the weather becomes severe (t-storms, lightening, heavy rains & wind or heavy downpour), we will cancel practice.

The Jr. Wildkit hotline has proven to be an excellent communication tool. If there is questionable weather, please call our hotline for an up-to-date status on Camp.

Our hotline number is: (847) 328-6758

Introducing Middleweights

As of May 1, 2009, the Featherweight class has been re-named the Middleweight class. This move was made in an effort to clear-up confusion between references to Flyweight and Featherweight classes created with the addition of the Flyweight class last season. Moving forward, any participant who is in grade 5 (over 100lbs) and grade 6 (over 90lbs) will be referred to as a Middleweight.
