As SportsCare Liaison, Michelle connects athletes of all ages in the community with injury prevention information and specialty
services offered by NorthShore University Health System.

She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois, where she received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology/athletic training. Michelle went on to graduate school at Northern Illinois University, receiving her master’s degree in sport management. During this time she worked as the head athletic trainer for women’s basketball, women’s soccer and softball.

In 2014, Michelle was promoted to regional sports medicine manager for the northern suburbs for Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers. When Athletico Physical Therapy merged with Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers, she accepted the position of regional athletic training coordinator for the south suburbs and central Illinois.
